Front Pages of the World
1. My favorite front page is San Antonio Express-News from San Antonio, Texas USA. Mainly because it is organized really good and it has different colors and it catches your attention from the way the Newspaper is laid out from the different action verbs and words.
2. My favorite headline from it is Charges soon expected in Boston Blasts, I'm interested in it because the word's ''Charges'' , and ''Blasts'' catch your attention, and it's a controversial topic everybody faces today and many people have their own opinions towards it.
3. Their is 5 pages.
4. They all have at least 7 to 8 words for the headline and they all have a story relating to their own new's, and something in common to other news around the world, and the lay out is a little similar to a little detail they all share.
5. They are different from eachother because they have different color and many of them use a different font that is different from the others, that they use for each publish.

Lenses and Photography Vocabulary
I would use a Telephoto lens to zoom in more and expose the main subject more than any other thing that we don't want to use in the photo.
I would use a Prime Lens to Expose a little more things in the photo, and use it for a darker place for the subject of the photo.
I would use a Wide-Angle lens to show everything that we need in the photo, as if we are taking a photo with a regular lens.
Depth of Field - Is how far the photo is and how wide it is going to be for the viewer. This is important because it helps show how far the photo is and how many things you are willing to put in the photo, and how wide it is to show those things.
Light - It is the intensity of how you see it, and if it is bright enough for you to see it in the right angle. This is the most important part of the photo, because you will not be able to see the photo if you have to much, and if it is too dark then the photo will be less exposed, and you need to be able to see the main subject to feel the scene in the photo.
Shadow's - Is when you are able to see a dark substance in the photo, to attract you attention and eliminate the main subject.
Diffusion - Is when you are making the light less exposed. This is important because it helps get the right amount of light you need in the photo.
Exposure - Is when you show how much you need to in the photo, and how wide or little it is. This can he;p you eliminate the things you don't need in the photo, and help the viewer focus on the main subject more.
Aperture - Is how much light you get in the camera to the photo, which means high aperture means less light, and low means more light. This can affect very badly in the photo and if it is set to low than you will get more whiteness in the photo, and you barely be able to see anything in the photo.
Shutter Speed - Is how fast the camera opens and closes for the movement in the scene of the photo. It's very important for the photo because it affects the photo speed and movement and if you don't set it right then your photo will be to blurry.
ISO - Is how much sensitivity the photo takes in and the more grain, and fuzziness you have in the photo, and it affects the noise in the photo. This helps the photo look more clearer and show you how much things you need the change for the ISO to just right for the sensitivity in the photo.

The 7 News Values in the News
Timeliness - Spring storm leaves 3 dead, hits Mid-Atlantic
I chose this one because it happened really recently and it was posted today early in the morning, and the fact's about it are fresh, and they provide a lot of them for this event since it happened recently.
Proximity - Texas’ senators oppose debating federal gun legislation
I chose this because it happened in are state, and concerns us because the news is affecting us towards our state.
Prominence - N.C. univ. locked down on report of armed man on campus
This one was mainly chosen because it affected a whole entire place, and they had to be put on lock down, due to an armed gun some where on the campus, and it worried families and many people, and that's why it is important and news worthy.
Impact - In Seoul, Kerry Warns North Korea Against Missile Test
I chose this because it has a big impact towards our state's, and it show's the conflict between the to, and mostly because since this has been going for a while, everybody knows about it and wants to hear more.
Conflict -Fla. parents who kidnapped boys to remain in jail
I chose this for conflict due to its a conflict for kidnapping and it grabs your attention, and they face charges and its a conflict for why and what they did it for.
Human Interest - Arrest of 3 teens in cyberbullying case opens raw wounds
I chose this because the parents are struggling with the death of their daughter,a dn try to realize why the three boys would do this type of thing to the girl.
Novelty - Man tries to take photo of beaver; it kills him
I chose this because the man was attracted to the beaver, and the beaver approached him looking friendly, and severely bit him once and he bled out, and that was an unusual event that took place.
I think the most valuable story was the arrest of the three teens that assaulted the girl and neglected her, because it effected so many people around her, and it was mostly the thing that caught many peoples attention.
I think the most stupid one is when the man got bit by the beaver and was killed by it, mainly because he went close enough to the beaver where it got frustrated and used self defense, bit him, and also because his friends were not quick thinkers to take him to the hospital.

GoPro Hero3 Camera - GoPro: Red Bull Rampage - 2012
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmQ3lfT_JAs
2. I looked at a event from redbull in the mountains of a desert, and how the GoPro Hero3 is ale to make sudden movement's while stopping the subject and moving and then let the subject go, as it continues.
3. I saw how the GoPro Hero3 Works fro fast movements, and keeps it steady for the movement of the subject to be seen, and I also saw bikers giving exapmles of the movement for the camera.
a. who made it was, GoProCamera. ( youtube channel), And it featured the people that made and rode.
Brett Rheeder
Tyler McCaul
Brandon Semenuk
Darren Berrecloth
b. It took place in Virgin, Utah. On rocky mountains, and was won of the most punishing competitions.
c. I learned that it is perfect for a lot of movement's, and easy to handle and carry, and that it has stop motion for it, and you can use it for most sports, and out door activities.

Light Stalking - 50 (More) Daunting Photos of Storms
http://www.lightstalking.com/storms
I looked at light stalking storms, and how it differ's from landscape photography. It shows how to take pictures of it (http://www.lightstalking.com/storm-photography), and how it attract's the viewers with its colors and shape.
I learned from the tutorial page, to keep a distance and not to bring metal with you, and add some objects into the fray. That the wind movement might be hard to keep stable, so to take a tripos with you to keep it from moving mroe than it is.
5.
a. Because it stand's out from the city and the color's differ from the tan city beach, and it show's color and how unique the shadow hover's over the water.
b. I see Rule of the Thirds, because you can change the subject to the city, or the strom and the water together, from the shadow over the city.
c. Pual Bica.

Lens flare- 17 creative uses of lens flare.
http://www.lightstalking.com/lens-flare
1. I watched that lens flare, was not a good addition to the photo, but as time had passed, the flare had shown the exposure, and the creativity of the photo. This can also expose you main subject of the photo. It shows the nature of the photo taken itself.
3. I learned that lens flare is some times, some what, important to add to your photo, to give your main subject more exposure and attention.
4.
a. I chose this photo because the first flare that actually catches your attention is the main subject of the guy that is on the shoulder's of a person, and the flare basically points you in the diretion of the concert itself and the flare from the top lights.
b. I can only see Balancing Elements, because the subject helps balance the flare with the other's, and it balances whats goin on with the subject and the concert.

Spinning Around a Bulding-
http://fstoppers.com/how-to-spin-a-camera-around-a-building
What I looked at on this website, is how to spin around a building, and make it look as if this took about 5 minutes to do. They started off talking about how you have to set your picture points, and setting the camera in the same position to eliminate the movement. they showed how you can do it on photoshop program to use, and you have to be creative with it.
3. I learned that if you have everything set up to take a lot of photo's of the same thing, that you have to keep it at a steady position, and be careful of any sudden movement.
a. i can use this to show the nature and the surrounding of our school from the outside, from an advantage point, to make it look like i was recording, and learn how to keep a steady photo.
b. I learned that you can composite all the photo's together, and that you able to line up the photo, with the others to keep it at a steady position, and add motion blur to make it look like you were actually moving. (Photoshop).

Magazines Part II
Early Magazine Cover.
In the 1700's magazine's were different, because The Table of Content's. They never had word's that explained the title, or the publishing data, you couldn't really tell what the book or magazine was going to have inside of it. They always just had a small picture that was drawn, or they had a picture of symbol, to show the spirit of publication. Peterson's women magazine had a cover that had a rich feeling with beautiful drawing's. In the 1800's they would use a cartoon looking like cover, with a font that stood out from most of the magazines. Most of the magazine cover's used art and music to symbolize the inside world of that magazine that you would read.
The Poster Cover.
A lot of the artist's of poster cover got their artistic talent from the Art Norveau movement, due to that they took over graphic design, even when photographer's were their at the time, they didn't really care about it. They tried to make the cover look as if you wanted it to hang on the wall as a photograph, or maybe framed. The only problem is that they didn't relate their photo's to the story inside the magazine. A lot of the art that they did on the cover would announce the theme of the magazine, with very little cover line's. The illustration that they had would reach out farther than the rest of the cover.
Picture's married to type.
These magazine's would rely on heavy cover lines to help draw the readers into the story more than the cover art did. They tried to make a relationship with the reader and the book itself. In the 1900's they re-invented a method for the cover, they would use a large title, with her face hovering over it, and show their whole body for the emotion and feel of it, and the cover line's would be to the side of her, cautiously put in the right position to be able to read and get a glimpse of what's inside. In the early 1990's James Montgomery, created Uncle Sam, which would have the large picture and its cover lines at the bottom of the page, with a feel of a different color. earlier in 1930 they would use the first letter of the word bigger than to rest to stand out more than the res tto show that this was the title, and what was inside.
In the Forest of Words.
In 2001 they had created a specific idea to intensify the photography, and draw the picture away from the poster cover, and towards the photography with many cover lines around the cover. The over lines over reached the cover space. They use the fonts to cover specific parts of the body that aren't important to the photo, to eliminate the non important part, to show the rest that creates the photo's feel.

(Old), it was saved as a draft from a while back.

The editors’ description of the cover : "Doing what they do may seem
extreme enough, but to photograph Yosemite climbers, including Alex
Honnold edging face-out along the Thank God Ledge on Half Dome (because
‘it's cooler that way’), is another whole ball of equipment.
Photographer Jimmy Chin, who makes a living creating images of climbers
all over the world, said: ‘At the end of the day, if I got one photo
that I felt truly captured Yosemite climbing, that would make me happy.’
He got one—and it landed on the cover of National Geographic in May 2011."
I liked this photo not only because it explain's the saying, '' Life on the edge'', but also because it show's the great environmental exposure, and good lighting to it. It talked to us saying that anybody can amount to his or her own limits, and over come fear, because fear s not real if you beat it already. The only thing that i did not like, is the background is a little to darkened from the main subject/cover, the photographer made a great photo out of this because he had a distance from the climber, and the other mountain's itself. The composition was not as easily thought about then looked at, but the photo itself is a great photo, and that's why it made the cover of the magazine.

Welcome back!!
I picked this photo as one of my top three, because i liked how they got the alligator in a straight position, and used some type of light, in a position to reflect off the alligator's eye.
I picked this as one of my top three because, you can actually see how high in the air he is, and how the photographer captured it at the exact moment to where both of his feet are at the same level, and it looks like he walked off and did it on purpose.
I picked this one as one of my top three because, it look's like his face is getting smashed, and thrown in different angles and directions, and i like ow the photographer made it look like the whole entire body is pointing, and the tension looks like almost as if it was like in the movies computer generated, from how amazing the [photographer handled it.
I think the best song of 2012 in my opinion is Danny Brown ''Grown Up'', because the ay he used his style, Old school, New school, and his Detroit flow, he used the lyrics, '' Went from good fella to commissary slips, now i got back up every time I slipped, Never ever quit just kept on pursuing, teacher always asked me what was I doing''. Also because he doesn't copy anybody's style and talks about in the song how it was hard for him growing up.
I think the best movie of 2012 is ''the amazing Spider Man'', because it actually tells a storyline behind it, and the way that they plotted it came out to be a really great movie, plus I've been a fan of Spider Man since i was a child.
I think the best New's story was The Connecticut shooting, because the man had no reason, and how the paid great respect and tried there hardest to stop this, and how the teachers protected the children and died for them.
I think the most important person of the year is Barack Obama, because he is doing this country good, and promised us things that he is doing to help our country do it's best.
The biggest sports story was Paquiao vs Marquez when Marquez knocked him out.
1. The thing that I remember the most, was how everybody came to my house and had a fun time, and we didn't argue we just had a great family time, and everybody got what they wanted.
2. my new year resolution is to see my family more, and spend time with them.
3. A better world, and everything to go good with family and friends.
