National Geographic Warm-up

I like this photo because they way he is positioned, like he is crouching to see what kind of effect to capture. The way the clouds form around before it strikes, then you can see from the clouds the sparks. The way you can see the clouds from the lighting swirl around, then when it strikes the ground the color is mixed with red, and orange.
I would like to submit a photo of an animal jumping over a small narrow river at night, and have a light to glare his eyes, and to see half of his body so you can identify what kind of animal, the thing that would matter to me, is the position the animal has as he jumps over.
