EXTRA CREDIT

1. A Man was pushed by an unidentified person, and the photographer didn't know what to do, so he flashed his camera towards the subway train driver to get his attention but it was to late.

2. He said to be able to get the subway drivers attention to try to be able to stop.

3.  I think he should have in order to do try and save the man and to be panicking i say he did the right thing.

4. I think he did because he was panicking, and the train was to close to run and actually help him.

5.  i disagree to do that because the man said he did it to help him but he still gave it permission;n to be on the cover of the newspaper, and that is disrespect towards the victim.

6. It is basically the two put together he was just walking and saw it happen, but his first intention was to not take a photo for the fame and publicity.

7.  Yes because a lot of photographers have reason to why they took a photo that they captured.

8. Well yes because some people don't like it when people take photo's as they are naturally doing things, and no because they give a story behind it.

9.  Ross Taylor, because she gives the people a chance to speak in order to give a story and an opinion.

Lytro warm-up & Ethics in Fashion photography

1. What happened was that when you clicked on the photo, it would focus on that particular spot, and if you double clicked it was zoom in on that spot, and auto focus on where you wanted it to.

2. It works as if you were actually were in that moment when it happened, and the way it shoots, it shoots in different angels to where your allowed to move the position to where you want it to be, and to where you want it to be refocused, and records a whole entire light field. Well at least i think it does.

3. I think you would have to know, what kind of light, and position you have to take when your in that moment, and if its always ready to take pictures, and you would have to know the right place to take the picture, and where to take the camera.

4. Definitely, because you can refocus, and capture more of the photo, and it allows you to be more free after you take the photo, with more options.

                                                                      FASHION

1. They took off the pimples, and freckles, that she had on her face by using a lot of makeup, and they changed her hair style, and fixed most of the stuff that they didn't need, and they used a computer program, to change her shoulder height, and fixed the length of her hair.

2. I mean if they wont you to then you should but change it the way they want it to change not the way you want, if they don't, don't force them to change there appearance. So yes and No at the same time.

3. No cause they are doing it for money, and using a high quality camera to do this, and without the camera they wouldn't be able to advertise it good enough.

4.  The pimples and the freckles, but not the shoulder length, and the hair style.

5. The differences between fashion, and photography, is that we capture the simple things and let them turn out the way they want, and capture the right moment, and for fashion they change every single detail and try to make it perfect before they capture the actual moment, and photojournalism we use are own mind set to capture the moment at its best time.

6. We all have a similar mind set, and we like to change the hings that we really don't need, but we do it because that's what we like to do.

Self Portrait and Portraits Part II AND Rules of Photography Part II

1. Think about your motivation and emotions: Blankly staring at the camera rarely gets good results. Be silly, don’t be afraid to over-act. The worst that can happen is that you fill up your memory card with useless photos; but you might also find yourself with a proper gold-nugget of a self portrait.

2. A mirror or some other reflective surface offers an even easier way to take a self-portrait. In most cases, the camera will be included in the scene (but this can help make a statement about your enthusiasm for photography).

3. You can create an especially revealing self-portrait by adding personal memorabilia surrounding your mirrored image, such as photos of yourself at various stages of your life, or anything that tells the viewer about your interests.

                                                         Environmental portrait

I Liked this photo because the Light really, gave away the feeling to this photo, and is showed the subject in a more unique way.

I liked this photo because you can tell that he used a tripod to give the dog more freedom In it's Original state.

                                                           Photography self portrait
I liked this photo of his self portrait, because its like hes telling you a story as in hes losing his mind.

I liked this photo because it looks like he used a editing program, and took three photos of different direction's , and made it fit in to look like a shocking photo.

                                             Casual portrait

I liked this photo, because the black and white shows the feeling, and how he is positioned in front of the shed looking thing, it showed that he was probably happy.

I liked this photo because of the lights in the background actually match the subject shirt, and gives more effect to the situation.

A couple of friends, and probably myself, and I will shoot at a background with different colors to show the emotion and feeling to the photo, and to make the shot successful I will tell them to be them selves in the photo, and to be unique, and to NOT fool around.

Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO - how do they all work?

F2.8, Rule For Photography
F16, Rule For Photography
1. The Eyes, because, basically the bigger the pupil, the more light we reflect and the more light we capture.

2. The Smaller the aperture the bigger the photo, the Higher the aperture the more the light is going to get inside the camera.

Shutter Speed

Low Shutter Speed

High Shutter Speed
1. I would use flash and fast shutter speed.
a.) the dunking booth, fast
b.) the food eating contest.fast
c.) the rock climbing wall,fast
d.) someone working at a booth, slow
e.) the DJ/MC working at the middle of the circle, Slow Shutter Speed
f.) the Diamonds performance,Fast

f 8, 1/30

f 11, 1/30

f 16, 1/15

f 22, 1/8

At f 2.8 , the background gets more brighter, and at 4 4 it gets dimmer and more clearer, and at f5.6 It get a little darker, and at f8 it get more dimmer, at f 11 it shows the picture more clearer, at f 16 the picture is more visible, at f 22 the picture is a lot more darker.

Photo editing Tutorial

To edit your photo's you need to be as sharp as your photography

You need your medium shot which helps tell who and what are your story.

Close-up Shot, to see the details of the object

Portrait, to focus on the person or thing

Interaction, to get the attention of the viewer

Signature Shot, pull out the key element

Sequence, how you organize your photo's

Photo Editing

http://www.cnn.com/2011/IREPORT/09/09/edit.photo.bootcamp.irpt/index.html?hpt=hp_t2

2. I saw Some good photo edits. I Saw why people edit the parts that they want of the photo. I saw the does and don'ts.
3. I learned  the medium shot helps tell he who and what of your story.
4. It didn't have any photos but one.

Abandoned Theme Parks

1. I would like to visit the Prehistoric Forest, Irish Hills, Michigan, just because i grew up as a kid watching dinosaur movies, and it looks like fun obstacles, and there looks like a lot of fun murals to take pictures.
3.They would like to take pictures at the Rutherfurd Stuyvesant Estate . Or Michael Jackson Never Land Mansion, if its abandoned. Or a abandoned rail road car in Isle County cause there could be a lot of murals. Or maybe even the Linda Vista Hospital which is abandoned,it has rotted in decay with a lot of memories. Also a abandoned event center that is covered with acres of different views and sightings.

5. I think it would be fun to go there because the paintings people would put in there. Maybe to see if they hid something and if a find it take a GOLD picture of it and show it off to the world. To see what devastation has happened to it and see what people put on abandoned places and make post or a document about how abandoned places are treated and how we can save them and make a good use for these. we could use a gallery with this mansion for beautiful photo's.

6. I would need a lot of light for the place, not only for the camera which needs a long lasting battery, but good photography lights, and a good computer to edit out things that i don't to be seen in the photo, i would have to get permission from the past owner or the real estate agent the is trying to sell it to allow me o go in, i would need a camera crew.

Great Black And White Photographer's 3

1. What caught my eye, was the desperation of the people and the emotion that they show, and how they are all dedicated to what they are focused on.

2. I See: 2 little kids walking through a forest to exit. And i see the light from the exit. I see the clothes being dirty.
I  Smell: 2 kids that have smell like they have been running, and smell like bark because they have been traveling through the forest. I smell the forest stench of all the animals. I smell little kids being hungry.
2. I Hear: Birds in the tree, little crickets, and the smashing of sticks. I hear the animals calling for us. O Hear the kids breathing hard, and their heartbeats.
3. I taste: The dry mouth of mine, from being exhausted. I taste water from the forest river. I taste dirt form the kicking of our feet, causing the dirt to fly.
4. I feel bark, and leaves all through out the floor. I feel tired. I feel freedom.
1. What caught my eye, is how you see the football player is nervous and scared to be tackled, and te hand at the bottom is trying to tackle him, and how all three look dedicated.

2. I Hear: I hear the heavy breathing, and the ground shaking from impact.
I Smell: I smell dead grass, and sweat.
I Taste: I taste the sweat dripping down my face, and taste the grass from being tackled.
I Feel: People Trying to grab me and tackle me.
I See: Intimidation, emotion, people trying to win.

I would like to make a power point because the slide show best shows all the work, and allows me to put captions to explain why i took the photo. I want to create a new meaning to photography and create a new style for it.

Academic Shoot

Avoiding Mergers
I was taking a picture of the basketball pole getting smashed.
Yes
Changed the subject and ask someone for what the rule means.

Simplicity
I took a picture of this as i was going to a classroom, but this stood out as simplicity it is very simple as i was going to a classroom, but the time was up.
Not Really, they would have to have time to think about it
Go to a different place where someone knows the rules and actually knows how to use the definition with the photo.

                                                                                         Lines
I took a picture of a kid, looking at book's representing lines
Yes, they just have to have common sense
i wouldn't change anything but the location

                                                                            Framing
I took this for framing because it actually fit in in what the kids were doing.
Yes its obvious
I would change what the kid's were doing.

                                                                                Rule of the Thirds
I took this because I could easily cut out any kid, and make the subject turn into any kid, and change what's going on.
Not really you would have to sort of explain and tell your reasoning why.
I would change the background subject.

                                                                                 Balance
I took this because they are all balanced on one thing, and focused on their reading.
I would have to explain it to them.
I would change the subject of the kids.

Academic Shoot Reflection

1. One challenge is that some of the teacher's i know, didn't have a class for this period. Or some teachers classes were really boring.

2. Avoiding mergers, because i had to get something or some one at the right moment to actually match up with the surrounding's.

3. Actually go into a classroom, that i don't know that math to get a better feeling to the photo.

4. The positioning and the focus.

5.  Balance

6. Avoiding Meregrs

7. Rule of the thirds

Mural Project

We could take photo's at lunch or even during class to catch a interesting moment. And I pose theme

I think we should use our phone camera's and regular camera's to show the difference to see, and how the things to the camera have changed.

By the gym or by lunch so people can recognize our work.

Africa And Mural Project Preview

My reaction to this photo was, the black ans white color really show's the emotion and feeling to the photo's. How the animal's are close to each other, show's the love and emotion.
This photo is my favorite because the wind is brushing through the lion's hair, and how it's not even paying attention to the photographer, and the tiger is enjoying the relaxation.

Simplicity: You can change the main subject by cutting out the lion and making the subject the grass, plus it's simple, just the way the camera and the photographer, and the lion are positioned towards different area's

Avoiding Merger's: We could zoom in or change the color of the photo to set a different mood or feeling.

Rule of the Third's:We could easily compromise the photo by changing the direction of the lion, and making it a completely different photo, p maybe even the direction the wind is blowing the lion's hair. We could cut out the background to make it more of the subject than it already is.

An Ambitious Photographic Project
Showing the animals in the simple state of being
"Many pictures convey a rare sense of intimacy, as if Brandt knew the animals, had invited them to sit for his camera, and had a prime portraitist's intuition of character...as elegant as any arranged by Arnold Newman for his human high achievers"

Question's for Academic's Photo Shoot

1. Ina science or biology room when they are doing a lab or an experiment, to capture the moment when they are focused on it.
2. Coach Randolph's.
3. To be right at the moment and be focused and ready and know what i am looking for in the photo.

Academics and Community Service Photo Description

1. I picked this photo not only because it was captured at the right moment at the right time. Just because as soon as she dropped a drop of paint onto the bowl looking object, it immediately splashed at one direction in the middle, and when it reached the top, it splashed in all kinds of different direction.
2. I think simplicity and balance is best for this photo because. she is focused on one thing, and all is captured at the right moment for balance. For simplicity it's because the camera man, is positioned at the spot, and made sure the girl showed her expression.

Filling The Frame

The kids all seem to be circling around one object, interested and amazed at what's happening to the object and what caused it. They have there hands around it for a certain reason for there own purpose, to catch the smoke, to grasp it. It filled the frame because they all  are around it, while something extraordinary happened to it.

The Story

To me this seems to be telling a story for the kids and what they did. They Seem to be giving away food to the less fortunate, they seem to be in a rush. They are hurrying because there seems to be a line, because they are doing a good deed.

Action and Emotion

The action is the girl to the left set off the explosion, and the way that her face is expressed when the explosion goes off, and the girl to the right is amazed by it. They both seem to be focused on to different things, the girl to the left seems to be laughing hard, at what happened and the girl to the left, is shocked at what she caused.

Post Shoot Reflection

1. The challenge that i faced for the red, metal, happy, was that if you try to find them, you have to have the perfect moment of the subject, and what is going on around it.

2. I was focused on two things, the position and the focus, if i wanted to move it upside down, and blur it to show to feeling and mood.

3. I would change whats going on in he background and change the positions.

4. The things i would do the same is the, blur and tilt.

5.----

6. yes, do learn from my mistakes and fix them.

The Jumping Man Reaction

My reaction to the jumping man, is that he was brave and amazing, because the story Said that everybody was scared and not ready, as for him he was sailing through the air with pride, knowing what was going to happen, but he didn't worry, and he kept going down and down til he disappeared.

Avoiding Mergers

Avoiding Mergers
As you can see they are running we can change the whole different subject to just men running, in a panic.

Lines

Lines
The plane is tilted so you can just cut he photo and make the plane diagonal to show that their is just a plane, but to see the plane going to hit the building makes it more complex for the diagonal position.

The rule of the thirds

The Rule Of the thirds
The building and the what the camera captured shows, how far of height and how big the building was, from where he is falling, we can easily use the rule of the thirds to cut and just show a man falling

Framing

Framing
The man is a really good object for the framing, as he doesn't seem to know whats going on but the camera captures the moment, til he realizes what happened.
